PS2 connecting to TV - i haven't used one before.?

I have it plugged into mains, have a red, yellow and white connector from the deck to tv. When it and the freeview box and tv are on I can see a PS2 message in the background falshing across. When I turn the freeview box off I'm left with blue screens on most channels apart the normal 1-4 channels. channel 0 is VCR (even though there isn;t one connected) but is still a blue screen. Next to the red/yellow/white holes on the tv there is a black one for video - do I need a wire for this? if so , where does the other end go? Thanks

run an auto channel search whilst ps2 is switched on, or manually tune tv.

you maybe better off getting a scart lead and scart box, so that you can click between freeview and ps2 at click of a button.
