Anyway to convert speaker wires to RCA connector, easily?

I have a Samsung blu-ray receiver and was wondering if I could connect 4 outdoor speakers I have to this receiver. The speakers have red/black speaker wires, and I was wondering if it is possible to convert the speaker wires to plug into the RCA in the back of my receiver so I can play cd's in the receiver and use these speakers as the out. Any ideas that are cheap/easy? Thank you for your help.

No you cannot do this.

RCA Jacks carry what are called "line level" signals. It is information only - no power to drive speakers or even headphones.

Between a 'source' and the speakers you must have an Amplifier. These are usually a big-black receiver. It has RCA jacks as inputs and speaker wire terminals as outputs.

Your best bet for a home theater is to find a 5-8 year old AV Receiver from Craigslist for $100. While they dont have all the bells - they DO accept optical output (which is what your BluRay player will output to give you stereo and 6 speakers worth of sound).
