If I create a network with two computers using an Ethernet Switch will my internet speed slow on each computer?

i want to buy an Ethernet switcher for my two computers and i was wondering if by using this would my internet, which is about 5 Mbps, would be balanced between the two computers, or if both computers would be able to go at 5 Mbps
i will be putting the switch between the computers and my router

Both computers will then be able to access up to 5Mbps combined. However connecting the two computers to a router directly will be much simpler and cost effective since a switch is integrated into a router.
